Tech Dome Glo-Walk in the Park

1. Event Date/Time: Apr 30, 2016 (Saturday) @ 6:00pm
2. Venue: Youth Park Amphitheater
3. Details: 5-km Fun Walk starting at Youth Park to Botanic Gardens (upper route) and back (Walk will commence at 8:00pm but will be preceded by a “Face Painting” “Magic of Science” show and a “Limbering up with Zumba” session from 6:00 pm).
   • Since the event will emphasise on the “Glow” theme, competitors will be issued with striking colour (fluorescent-look) round-neck t-shirts and a glow-band each. They will also be encouraged to paint their faces and add on any “glow-in-the-dark” items to enhance their look in line with the theme.

4. Tentative Programme:
   • 6:00pm - Face-painting
   • 6:45pm - Magic of Science Show
   • 7:15pm - Limbering up with Zumba
   • 7:45pm - Assemble at Starting Point
   • 8:00pm - Start of Glo-Walk
   • 9:30pm - Lucky Draws
   • 10:00pm - Ends
5. Targeted Participants:
   • Employees (and their families) of MNCs,
   • SMEs,
   • Other local corporations,
   • Secondary school students and the general public.
6. Participation by Donation:
   • RM100 donation
     • Complimentary dri-fit premium quality t-shirt
     • Tax exempt receipt as approved by Ministry of Finance
     • Name listed on the Founding Sponsors’ Wall in Tech Dome
   • RM35 donation
     • Complimentary cotton t-shirt
     • Tax exempt receipt as approved by Ministry of Finance
   • RM15 donation (for School Children only)
     • Complimentary cotton t-shirt
     • e-Certificate which will qualify them for Co-curriculum points 
7. Corporate Donation: Companies wishing to support the event (and contribute towards the realization of Tech Dome) are urged to make a donation of RM5,000/RM10,000 or above for which up to 50/100 of their staff members respectively will be invited to participate on a complimentary basis.
   • Alternatively, they can opt to sponsor secondary school children to participate in the event.
