MPI Generali Run 2017

DATE: 8 January 2017 (Sunday)

VENUE: Start / Finish – Padang Merbuk, Jalan Parlimen, Kuala Lumpur

TIME:  7:00am start for Competitive Run 10km
            7:15am start for Fun Run 5km  

CODE, CATEGORY, AGE GROUP, QUALIFYING 
  Participants below 12 years old please obtain and fill up the parents’ consent form in our T&C& START TIMES: 

 

5KM COSTUME FUN RUN:

500 teams  of four only

4 pax per-team

Minimum age 4 years old above

At least 1 female in a team (Mix team)

Criteria for team finish: All finishes together

 Winner:

1. Best Team Costume dressed themed competition

2. Minimum 2 out of four participant’s must be in theme (Prince & Princess) to qualify for prize winning.

- 10km : 3,000 entries or by 31 October 2016
- 5km  :  2,000 entries or by 31 October 2016

RUNNERS’ SAFETY:     The organiser will not be liable for any damages whatsoever, resulting from injury, whether fatal or otherwise, of any participants or for damages to or loss of such person’s property.
 
END OF COMPETITION: The run is official over 2 hours after the start time.

Final decision will be made by judge for the winners.
*In addition, trophies are awarded to the top 10 finishers in the 10km categories. A finisher’s medal will be awarded to all 10km and 5km finishers within the qualifying time specified.
WINNERS’ AGE VERIFICATION:    The age of all prize winners in each category will be verified. Please produce your identity card or other valid documents within 15 minutes of finishing your run at the Race Secretariat. Winners unable to provide documents required for verification will not receive their prizes.

SHIRT SIZING REFERENCE (DRY-FIT ROUND NECK RUN T-SHIRT)


The measurements are according to the chest size of the shirt. If you are measuring your own chest, do allow two inches of space i.e. if your chest is 36 inches wide, you should select a 38-inch shirt.
 
CERTIFICATE:                            
Participants who have completed the 10km race will be able to download their personalised certificates (with runners’ time, position in his/her category, position in his/her gender and position in overall race) from www.themarathonshop.com.my once the official results have been posted.
 Participants in the 5km race will receive their certificates at the Finish line.
 
BREAKFAST:   A light breakfast will be served to all participants from 7:45am to 10:00am.
TIMING CHIP:  A timing chip, on the bib will be issued upon the collection of your race entry pack.
DRINK STATIONS: There will be three drink stations along the 10km run route, and one drink station along the 5km run route.
