BPR 2016

Botani Putrajaya Endurance Run (BPR) is a road running endurance events for runners. BPR comprises of two events, PUTRA 24 and UNGU 55. The first of its kind running event in Malaysia, a unique inaugural race experience.
Our main objective is to promote Putrajaya’s Botanical Park to the masses, especially to the local running communities and overseas runners coming to Malaysia as their running/vacation destination.

PUTRA 24 is an inaugural 24 hours Endurance running race around 5.5km loop inside Taman Botani, Putrajaya. This race is open to all genders and nationalities. Our objective is to promote endurance running inside the beautiful Putrajaya Botanical Park. Furthermore, this race is to create awareness towards appreciating nature and promote activities to save our nature &rainforest. It’s a 5.5km loop route inside Putrajaya Botanical Park with a Cut Off time of 24 hours. Runners with the most distance covered within 24 hours will be declare as the Winners. Absolutely no pacers allowed.

UNGU 55 is a distance based road running endurance race only for Women. Race participants need to complete 55km distance (10 loops of 5.5km) within 12 hours of the allocated time. Our objective is to promote endurance running and empowering Women through running. It’s a 5.5km loop route inside Putrajaya Botanical Park, which is completely safe and away from any traffic. Runners with the fastest time to cover 55km (10 loops) will be declared as winners. Absolutely no pacers are allowed in this event as we believe, that women are strong minded runners who can finish this task without any outside help.

THE ULTRA WOMEN (UW) RACE

[COMBO PUTRA24+UNGU55]

This category is for Women Runners who want to go the extra distance and interested participants need to register both events; PUTRA 24 and UNGU 55 race.

This is not for everyone and not everyone can accomplish this magnificent feat as an ULTRA WOMEN.

Candidate participants need to submit medical certificate and finish at least 50km race in the past. This is a very demanding category and participants need to have a strong mind to finish this unique category.

To be considered as ULTRA WOMEN, participants need to finish at least 110km within 24 hours (55km at PUTRA 24 and 55km at UNGU55).

Accepted participants for ULTRA WOMEN category will start PUTRA 24 race first (8:30am) and then continue with UNGU 55 race in the evening (8:30pm). Only one bib are allowed at any one time during the race. If the participants finish the UNGU 55 race earlier, they may continue accumulated more mileage using PUTRA 24 bib until the COT. e.g. If one participants completed 40km during the PUTRA 24 race and then stop to continue with UNGU 55 race, they need to complete another 15km race for PUTRA 24 after finishing UNGU 55. Overall, participants for this race need to have at least 110km at the end of the day to earn the title ULTRA WOMEN.
